  TrackCar & F30 330d
It's my first time puting a cat back on my car as my MOT is on the 6th of feb.
Does anyone know where i can get the two clamps that are in the picture as Halfrauds dont have them.
I think i found this pic on here a while back

surely as long as the clamps are done up tight it shouldnt be a issue and it isnt blowing?

Hmmm sorry not sure i really made sence.

I can attach the cat to the manifold,
But i cant attach the cat to my K-tec exhaust.

I have the sock thing but i need the two clamps that are in the first picture so i can connect the sock thing to the other side of the cat and then onto my exhaust.

are you on about exhaust clamps ?

Go to your local exhaust place they will probably give you a couple lol.

Just use your old bolts. Im guessing your going to be changing back once its passed its MOT ;)

End of the day you just want the cat to sit pretty for 40 mins, nothing fancy needed.

Surely any decent motor factors should supply them, my local one had all 3 style clamps as per your pics...

from your first photo, the lefthand clamp is a Norma/Mikalor type and the righthand one is just an olive clamp

you might be able to source a suitable olive clamp from an exhaust fitter but might struggle to find the norma/mikalor type (could try a specialist fixtures/fittings supplier - or mailorder)

ed. you can use u-bolt clamps (as your second photo) instead of mikalor/norma clamps but they're not as good and need to be exactly the right size

The rear flange on the decat doesn't look right to me just looks like the pipes overlap each other, is it a standard cat back exhaust?

They use those clamps on JCB hoses and other excavators ;)

If he hasnt got the 182 sleve adaptor then possibly a trip to Renault is in order as you'll struggle from a motor factors. If he has the sleve them just insert a new bolt if required, job done :)
