Cat vs. De cat

I had fitted a miltek manifold back exhaust with de cat and recently re fitted the cat to the beautiful quiet exhaust it once was lol

other than the sound, based on a standard (non mapped) 182 is there really any benefit of having a de cat fitted?

I had the cat put back on last week for MOT. i'll be leaving it on, makes the car more enjoyable to drive with a yozza. Doesn't sound as good blipping on down changes, but i can live with that.

No difference that you would notice. Dont know why people fit de cats imo

The 182 cat is a 200 cell sports cat anyway and people run 230bhp through them fine
Just makes the car noisey and illegal

I just can't operate on demand like that
