My car is due is MOT soon and is fitted with a decat due to the baffles in my cat rattling. can anyone tell me if RSI and Valver cats are the same size. i dont really want to shell out for a 2nd hand cat as it will only be on there for the MOT.

my car is a mk1 ph2 and my mates valver who i might borrrow the cat off is a mk1 ph1

if your cars is M reg or older you might get away without a CAT

she is an M, i thought all cars had to have cats after K, correct me if i am wrong

thats right, but m reg and earlier can have higher emmisions than post m reg, so you might get away with it, best thing to do is pop it to a garage and ask them to check the emmsions, they'll do it for free!
