Thinking about getting these, what are the cons and pros? anyone using them?

Nope, thinking about an upgrade to indv. throttle body and forged pistons. For Colombo's std internals are more than enough unless you won't pass 8300 rpm limit.

Stock internals won't last at 8k let alone any more long term its other bolts etc you need to think about though

ARP makes rod bolts for F4R, though not certain about the cylinder head one's.

So nobody got uprated springs?

fitted a few sets. Stronger valve springs are intended to prevent the valves floating when using cams with high lift and fast ramp and decline rates at high RPM (ie valve bounce)

or simply: they help control valve movement more acurately at higher engine speeds.

They are also required when std items become coil-bound near full lift.
