central locking autolock problem

i'll try and explain this as best i can! When you pull away the doors usually lock themselves, well mine's stopped doing that! Is it something i've done with the alarm accidentally or is it controlled by the airbag computer, which i just recently removed?

Push and hold the lock button on the dash until it beeps.

Every I think, had it on my old van, pain in the arse. Hold the central locking button to turn it on/off

Yup every Mk2 Ph2 onwards IIRC, not sure about the Ph1s
