Central Locking Module

  BMW X5

Hi there people. I have got a 2002 Clio that jus has central locking but not an alarm...i.e when i press the blip the lights flash and doors lock but thats it.

I was jus wondering where the module/reciever for this is within the car?

Thanks

Dave

Yea...

I want to know cause i want to see if i an fit an aftermarket alarm onto the existing kit. If it sends out a signal to lock the doors i should be able to get enough to turn on an alarm.

everything is inside the uch (electronic computer/relay board) which is behind the fuse board on the left hand side of the dash. look up in the passenger footwell and you can see it. new uchs come blank so it needs a dealer to replace it if nes.

what is your problem with it anyway?

thats all the gen renault alarm does. it picks up the pulses from the interior door locking switch.
