central locking not working

first of all im new to the site so i dont know my way around yet so sorry if this has been asked before.
i bought a 1.2 mk2 clio liberte tonight and the central locking dont work
theres no button on the key so you use the key to unlock the door it dont unlock the other doors just the one you put the key in anyone got any ideas no had a look yet as it was dark by the time i got home any help would be great cheers dean

i'd be interested to know this too as i had it the other day. the keyfob stopped working so i used the key to unlock and it only did the driver door. sorted out the problem with the keyfob and the button unlocks all the doors.
