Central locking problem phase 1 172

I have a phase 1 172 with a problem with the central locking.

For some reason the locking activates randomly while driving the car. Switch on panel shows doors to be locked. I unlock but then sometime later it relocks itself. Any ideas? Not sure if it also unlocks itself - not had the car long.

Sometimes you can set it so when the car reaches 5mph the doors automatically lock... like a safety feature.. not sure how you turn this off tho

To activate you press and hold the locking buttton down. To deactivate im guessing its the same again!

how long do you have to hold it for, i will set mine for this i think.
