i need to get into my car to sort out the clutch, but my fobber isnt working, its been a bit dodgey before by this i mean having to repeatedly press the button to get into this car, would a flat battery on the car be doing this or new battery in the fobber neeeded? i can get in through the boot and pop the bonnet to charge the battery if i needed to, the car has been left for about a week without starting it as i didnt have the keys? anyone had this problem before or any advice on the matter cheers for the help in advance i know u must be getting bored of answering my questions by now

A flat battery would make it difficult to start this sounds more like either a poor earch on the central locking or more likly a new pliper barrery being needed.

If i drop my keys it dis-lodges the battery? and needs loadsa press's to make it work? So you could check that the battery is seated properly?
