Central Locking??

Hey all!!

I'm new here, and a proud owner of a Clio I was wondering if I could get some help from you guys. I have this button in my car, and I think it's for central locking, but I'm not sure. If it is ... it doesn't work *sigh* Here's a picture of it:

So I am i right? Is it central locking? Does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated

No, that's not for the central locking. I had one in my mk1 ph3 and it didn't do anything either. I think it's for the immobiliser but not sure what it does? :S

Got one on MK1 PH3 and it locks/unlocks the doors

Hmmm...strange. It must be down to the trim level then. My mk1 ph3 didn't have central locking.

I am a total car fool though, and have no idea about cars really [LOL!]. I have only recently got it and it's my first car. So excuse me if I say anything stupid lol!

My car [I'm almost 100% sure] is a MK1 and a P reg. I was wondering if there was anyway of getting it working, MickM?

Brothers one was for central locking as well.

If you have an RN trim level no central locking, it was only the RT that came with central locking.

As said, i thik it was only the RT's and Maxims that came with central locking. do you know what trim level it is? would normally says "S" or "RT", "RN" etc on the sdie bump strips

Yep, is for immobilisr too. Think not too sure though you may get a red flashing light at times on it

My mate had a MK1 Ph 3 RN and that had central locking!

trust me you have no central locking on a RL, take a pic of your key as well.

I haven't taken a pic of my key but I guess you're looking for a button or somin that locks and unlocks the car. Well there isn't one *sigh* [on the key that is]

Is it possible to get central locking for my car? I don't want to spend loads on it ... but I was just wondering if it was a possibility

trust me you have no central locking on a RL, take a pic of your key as well.

Mine was an RL, but had Central Locking
(Was a special edition mind.. )
