Centre Caps Diamonds

Can i remove the centre cap, masking tape around the dimond carefully once sanded with wet and dry then apply primer then satin black finish with a laquer?

Thanks, ive seen this been done and i like the image, makes the 1.4 dynamqiue alloys look less boring. I thought it was done by some sort of pen or brush...but i was thinking of the above method.

i want them black the diamonds, yeah they'll come out but whats the best method of painting?
