Centre console LCD display

My backlight has gone so in the daylight, I can "just" make out what's showing. In the dark, I have absolutely no chance. Has anybody else's gone? If so, how did you go about changing it?

you have to take the dashtop off and replace the 2 bulbs that are in there

checked the fuses before you do it?

You don't need to unscrew the display, there'd be more than just the clocks out if the dash lighting fuse was blow afaik. I'd say its the bulbs as there not LEDs like most of the others, dash top off and there are two bulb in holders that twist out at the back of the display.

It might be just me... I can't see the part that tells you how to take the dash top off!?!

Thanks Yep... I'm lazy. But in all seriousness, please don't tell me I have to remove the dash thus following ALL eight steps!?!

Yes yo do, it's the only way to get the dash display out. Renault will do it for about £40 (half hour labour)

I booked my car in at Renault this morning and £45 later, it's all sorted
