CG - Mseal and Black and ..... some Swirls ! Yes!

  106 GTi
Received some Chemical Guys Mseal on Friday from David at www.carwashnwax.com, used it on the Clio as test. Paint was looking ok so I tried a test panel with Megs Speed Glaze, Clearkote Vannilla Moose Hand Glaze and AG SRP. The sealant looked no different over each, so applied the AG SRP to the whole car as I felt this would leave the best base oil and filler free) for the Mseal, then applied 2 coats of the sealant. Goes on super easy and probably the esist sealnat I have ever used for removal. Good gloss and flake pop, apperance wise no better than any other sealants I have tbh.

A few snaps from this morning in the sun.

Very impressed mate. Can you get most of the products you use form Carwashnwax or are there any other websites?

Cheers

Cheers Alan, who knows! I saw him using an old pair of what looked like Weemans pants, and some unknown polish. Still it made me Laugh when I saw it in the sun this morning!

I dont use that much of the chemical guys stuff (Sometimes shampoo, like there Quick detailer range, and just used the sealant for the first time), but with the range that they do you could get everything you need off there site. I tend to mix and match stuff.

As always looking great Rich but it's hard to tell what impact the M-Seal had because your car looked so nice before you applied it.

That Escort looks like it's finger marks all down the side of it.

I never find sealants to add much to the look anyway, it was clear and wet looking but no more so than EGP, Poorboys EX-p, Wolfgang or UPP.

TBH Thought it doesn't look as deep as your usual standard.

Cheers Kenny.

Yeah Al second pic is on a normal British day, the shots of the car where taken with full on direct sunlight (not a cloud in the sky) on that side of the car.

Still looks fairly deep

Lacked the normal depth even in the shade though, which is why I always top sealants with carnuba. Since topped with Souveran, will grab a shot later if I can.

LOl That probably occured not long after the pic was taken, leaving me to get in back in the garage quick ;)

Out of interest what is the durability of the Pinnacle like? Compared to say, P21s.

Can't comment as I always use them over a sealant.

The Souveran alone is meant to be poor, worse than P21s.

I tend to alternate between layers of Nattys Blue and Souveran.

yes there is www.cleanyourcar.co.uk :D

Rich your car looks stunning. The flake under the clear coat is one of the best I think i've ever seen. Absolutely jaw droping.

Love next doors car... that is probably the worst polished car i've seen what did he use a brillo pad!

Cheers Guys.

Tim - the flake pop is quite good with it, but UPP seems the best for that so far, but seemed to have less depth than the M-Seal.
