change to a ph-quick

Car  AMV8, Mk1 Golf
ok so ive been thinking about a new car for some while im a really cant decide what to get,
so 1st i was thinking about saving up a while and getting a audi TT in about 2 years time...

but ive not heard great stuff about them,
so then i was thinking about sacking it and getting a mk1 golf cabby and having a whale of the time with the extra cash

so now im thinking about a ph1 172 aster seeing jons properly today, some bits i dont like but on a whole i think its pretty.

insurance will be abit of a killer, but i could go 3rd party?

TT looks great but chassic etc wise they arn't wonderful they can be fixed and there are a few racing ones but few people do much with them beyind engine tunning as the 1.8 T engine has loads for it plus the people who buy them are more often after the look (nothing wrogn there I'd love one and i'm more bothered about a cars handling).

Forget 3rd party unless you geta very cheap one personaly if you cannot afford fully comp don't buy any car. Thephase 1 is argued my many me included to be the bst of the 172/182 range so i'd buy one .

personally I woldn't go third party on it, f/c all the way.
tbh it's prob worth saving up till you can afford it a bit better.

As above, if you can't afford fully comp then don't buy it yet. I made that mistake with a cheap car and would hate to think someone would do it on an expensive one.

If you can get fully comp insurance, then go for it, cracking cars.

i can afford it i just dont like paying 2k for insurance, when the car isnt really worth much more n that.

any one got good quotes, id want a silver or a black one i think lol

Go for the Ph-Quick love, it's a superb car for the money.

It's my next move ;)

Taylor, pm me your details and I'll find you a cheaper quote, £1800 is a dry bumming! Reckon more around £1200 or less can be done

if i could get it around that id buy one tomorow, or steal one... i already have a inportant part haha may as well have the rest of the car

id save the extra and get a ph2 172 there so much nicer cars! just think of all the style a 172 ph2 has got over a ph 1

i dont want a ph2 i have one now and id liek something different i like the fronts of the phase 1s but wud put a ph2 rear on
