Changed clutch problems

Hi All

Ive changed the clutch on the clio yesterday, got the box back on and everything back together went into the car to take for a test drive and the gearstick is jammed in neutral with the clutch in or out the gearstick wont budge, linkages seem tight.

Its a Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique

Clutch is mis- aligned done it myself before. All went together fine with a bit of a wiggle got in the car no gears had to strip it back down and re align
it.

Also when you took the box out did you undo the sleeve part of the linkage or pulled the rubber boot off and undo the 13mm nut and remove it that way.

does it go into gear with the engine off? if not its not the clutch. Im saying he removed the boot and did it that way and has done it up too tight.

Back again

Took the box off again to realign the clutch, box went back on easier than before with the clutch aligned properly now. Gets in and starts it up still jammed in neutral, if i let go of the clutch and accelerate the speedo goes up, the diff circlip looks to still be in position too

Any ideas?

forget the clutch for now, as even when a car is turned off and sitting staionary you can push it into gear, seems you have messed something up with the linkages, ive never done a clio box before, but thats where i would be looking.
