This was how my car looked when I first brought it, I hated it but could see the potential! had it nearly 2 years now and much much happier with the look of the car

Looks a million times better mate, well done. Saw a 172 cup advertised a while ago, owned by a "mature man" and that was wearing some hideous 17" alloys and stickers.

Cheers mate, its been lowerd on the dreaded apex 40mm springs! was all i could afford at the time.. but ill be honest i dont think they are too bad!

Also the wheels were sold to a middle aged man, a very strange middle aged man to be fair! But to be honest id have paid someone to take them away!

black ariel is also on the list.. this one doesnt even work tbh get very poor signal! im guessing they just screw off?

Yeah, just be carfule it's not seized and tries to turn the whole mount. I got a stubby one off ebay. Not a 100% size match to the mount but good enough.

I did try to unscrew it a few weeks back and it felt pretty solid so i stopped before i did any damage! ill have another go and maybe be a bit braver!

Looking for peoples opinions....

I need a new exhaust in the very near future and my backbox fell off the other day! its been welded at the moment. but....

Do i stick with a stealth exhaust or go for a recessed? Cant make up my mind if i like seeing the exhaust on a 172 or not! and the idea of cutting the bumper... help!
