Changing allege speakers in my Clio 182 , what should I get ?

Just brought a Clio 182 and. Think the speakers are about naff so looking to upgrade them all! Anyone got any suggestions? Cheers liam

words of advice from experience - change the head unit first, you will notice an unbelievable change in sound.

If you're still not satisfied, there are many options, but I advice Vibe for budget, or if your going to splash out, try Hertz. Hertz are very good quality!

As above - HU powers the speakers.. that's where the naffness is coming from.

HU with freq. cutting and a sub in the boot. Job done.

Cheers guys where can I find all the speaker sizes without taking them all apart?

I think they are 13.5 in the fronts. An expert will be along shortly to confirm or deny

Pop the covers off and measure them.

my phase 1 has 13cm in the front and idk about the rears because i put 6X9's in the parcel shelf

Well I got a sub and amp to go in but can.t have 6 by 9s coz I take the parcel shelf out a lot for the cricket gear

It's not 1998 any more. Put the 6x9's on ebay / in the bin.

Ahah gonna jut change all of the standard speakers and fit the sub and amp also fit my other head unit and see how things sound!

do the 6.5" upgrade if you like, its not hard.

Focals are very good speakers for the money.
