had a look through the haynes bible looks quiet an easy job up until it starts talking about the correct tension can only be achieved by using a speacial tool???? any advice peeps?
Easy on the 1.2, yes to be gospel you need an eletric strain gauge to get the tension 100% right. But another way do it is to gauge the tension of the old belt yourself before you take it off and tension the new one near as you can the same.
Tbh if its too tight it'll whine and if its too slack it'll come off. So you should be able to tell pretty easily.
