Changing Alternator?

Gonna need to change my alternator, wont be doing it myself but wondering what it involves?

have JMS intake and and wondering what would need removed etc as am in germany at the moment and ideally would like to get it to JMS BUt seems im gonna need to get it changed here.

Just had mine done at a local garage.

From another thread:

Actually not all that bad a job, I just did mine today.

Bumper off
Slam panel off
Jubilee clip around the tensioner spring to stop it expanding.
out with alternator, in with new one
remove jubilee clip
Slam Panel on
Bumper on
Job done

For me the hardest part was the bumper off, as I never done that before, snapped two rusted bolts . I expect an experianced mechanic could do the job in a hour, took me 4 hours

Will do, just trying to make sure dont need to touch the belts or remove maniflod, cos dont trust myself or anyone here with it except yourselfs Tom.

Might try replace it n then get it booked in with yourselfs for a check n couple of things!
