Changing Brake Pads

V

v6Max

If I replace the front pads with a different manufacturers (e.g. Pagids) should I do the rears as well or is it safe to run mismatched. I know that the vast majority of the braking effort is at the fronts so I suspect that it may be allright to do but does anyone know for certain?

  Weeman sucks ****

Alright mate,

Thought Id say something on this but it may not apply to you with a V6.

Ive got a cup and recently put some EBC kevlar pads on and this caused a nasty clunking sound. Got it checked by Renault and they said it was fine. But, I cant stand it so have bought some Renault ones again.

Just a word of warning incase you get the same.
