How come you went for the brembo front pads over the DS2500's?

For whatever reason the DS2500s are not as good as I used to remember them to be in my 172 Cup.

They feel very compressible and wear/crumble fast. For the price they are not worth it.

My new favourite, in the Fiesta, are EBC Yellows, zero fade, solid pedal, zero dust, and at £60 a set the fact that they wear to the backing plates in one track day is no issue. Next time out I'll take a spare set and drop them in over the lunch break.

Until then though, basic Brembo pads are more than enough on the road for me and they cost pennies.
