Changing Crank Pulley

  Clio Sport 172 Ph2
do the job exactly as you would a full cambelt change.

i agree with this..... all you have to do... lock the crank with the correct pin.... lock the camshafts with the tool at the back...... all your gonna lose is two rear cam seals.
It could well turn if you dont..... the inner crank pulley could turn on the crank.... and you wont know it have moved.

Only changing outer pulley as the Crank is already keywayed, so won't this mean that the timing belt will stay in place on the crank?

I'm not going against what saying just trying to get my head round why I'd need to have the timing tools etc...

dis-regard my post.... just seen your inner pulley is keywayed :)
