** Changing drivers-side wing mirror 53-reg 172

hi, can anyone tell me how to change the off-side mirror on a 53-plate 172?

I havent got a clio but my cousin has one and I'm just going to pass this message on to him!

how does the leather bit on the other side of the mirror (inside car) come off?

Just pull the plastic bit off inside and there will be 3 screws iirc. Unlug the plug (if their is one) and the mirror will come off .

pull the plastic bit towards you as its stuck in with three plastic plugs. this reveals the three screws you have to undo, and the electrical block you need to undo. literally takes no longer than a couple of mins
