changing gearbox casings

Is it easy enough to change gearbox casings around?

I have one box that has s**t it's self and another one the apparently grinds into 3rd so I am wanting to try and make one good one

Have you got a socket large/deep enough to remove the diff Sam? Pretty sure its 47mm and needs to be deep enough to clear the drive spline.
