Changing gearbox oil on my my172

Was just wondering if anybody could talk me through it of if there is any diagrams knocking about. Also if anyone knows the best oil and how much ill need??? Thanks everyone)

From memory is 75/90 but you'd have to check.

Drain plug on the bottom to drain it, and a plastic wing nut on the front as you look into the bonnet to fill it it. You'll need a hose and funnel to fill it though as its impossible to get a bottle down there.

Any idea how much oil it takes?

3-4 litres

it's apparently 3.1L, but 3 will do (it's expensive!) and Renault's spec is 75/80. there'll be more on search
