Changing Headlight 182 - Help!

Hi Guys,

I know this has been asked and discussed a million times, but im struggling to find the time, skill and patience to rip the bumper off in order to replace the headlights.

Does anyone know anywhere in the Leeds/Huddersfield area that could assist, Halfords and Kwik Fit dont want to know.

Halford will do it its a few quid mind you.

That is to replace the bulbs, not the headlights. Unless the OP means bulbs then you are correct

It's the xneon's that require changing, Halfords said it was too complex for them.

Maybe I'll try a different branch... cheers

I doubt Halfords would want to change them as it involves taking the front bumper off.

is it bulbs or the actual headlight mate? and which side? i know you mainly have to take bumper off for both jobs

It's the bulbs that require changing, and its the drivers side which out of the two seems to be easier to get too, but whislt i'm going to this hassle i'll be changing both. cheers

It's a 5 min job (for me ) to get the bumper off... If its not urgent why don't you pop along to RS tuning on Saturday and I'll give you a hand ... Huddersfield is near leeds right

you dont need to take the bumper off even if it was a headlight! I did it fine, also a bulb is a 5 min job !

i would like to watch you do that plymcl172 i had to do mine you simply have to remove the bumper to get to the bolts on the bottom of the headlight.

My offer stands if you haven't had any luck by Saturday, pop along to rstuning with a jack and 10mm socket

Halfords won't do it as they don't sell replacement Xenon bulbs, that'll be why.
I worked there and changed many Clio bulbs.

This, they do now sell them in larger stores though, but won't change them.
