Changing inlet manifold

I'm midway through popping my matched inlets on.

Got the plenum off fine, and im currently at the point of trying to remover the manifold itself.

I'm following the guide thats on here but its not massively clear.

I've taken off the two bolts holding the fuel rail on, buty how do i get the actual rail off, do the injectors just come out of the manifold or do i need to unclip all the wiring and take it out after the manifold has come off the car?

Cheers
Tom

Push the clips in on the wiring connector and pull the plugs off.

Fuel rail will come off as one, no need to take the injectors out of the rail

* wiring off the injectors

* fuel line off the fuel rail

* 2 x 10mm bolts taken out

* pull injectors / rail out of the inlet

thanks for the quick reply

sorry to be so massively slow here, but how do the injectors come out of the manifold? just a case of pulling them with enough force?

I've removed the wiring clip on each injector, just a bit stuck as to where to go now.

Yeah once youve removed the 2 bolts, fuel line and wiring it just pulls off. Wiggle and pull gently and it will pop off out the inlet.

they can be a bit hard to pull out just need a bit of a tug sometimes, put a bit of spray grease on them to get them back in easier.

Yeah the injectors will come out with the rail

use a bit of WD to make it easier to remove/re-insert
