changing miles on speedo

can this be done? i have just purchased some mk1 ph2 dials, the ones with the white needles, anyone know how to change the mileage as i need to put them back to the mileage i have on my clio which they are going into, thanks,

Will ask my cousin if no-one answers before hand as he's done it on three sets off dials so far!!

From what i can gather he uses very small screwdrivers...

stick a drill on it til it goes all the way round again lol

okay thanks kiza, send me a pm or reply. if all this fails, i could just try and see if the mileage from my ph3 dials fits lol. there is always an easy solution, hopefully

On the Mk1 its not electric like the Mk2's

Your cousin is the best person to do them its not that difficult

was thinking of doing that ian, was getting quite frustrated lol, had the mileage thing in pieces trying to tamper with it, thing wouldn't move lol, and it is mechanical dials.

im after sum clio 16v clocks, so u use a drill to shift to the correct mileage ??
