As a few of you will know my existing steering wheel is fooked, having suffered from the usually melting hand grip problem. i now have a direct replacement and was wondering if it was a simple job to swap the 2 over or whether a trrip to the local garage is required? my wheel is a non-cruise control model if that helps.

Disconnect your car battery
Leave it for 10 mins or so.
There are two clips that hold the airbag on behind the steering wheel, you will need a flat blade screwdriver to get them off.
Airbag- there are 2 connectors to this, you have to flick the yellow connectors up and they will come off. T50 torx screw to remove the wheel then, might need a bit of force as they are on pretty tight.
