First thing buy the bits...

Next remove the airbox to gain access, then you just have to locate it, its easy to find once you have the new part in your hand so you know what it looks like... Removal is 2 10mm bolts, need a socket with extension bar to get to it, remove, unplug the old loom, cut the wires off, connect the new loom but dont solder or use the crimp thing yet....

Fit the new tdc sensor first and connect loom, try start, if it starts solder or crimp the new loom to the existing cables... If it doesnt then swap the wires over...

Thats it...

Theres a good guide somewhere on here, i think it was written by tomtom and it had pics, try searching.

In my case, I did have starting problem and I got the TDC sensor also. But never fitted. Recently, I had a few tanks of V Power (or same grade) and I found it is much much better for starting.

Also, at cold engine, I usually turn the ignition on first, then turn off. Then turn to ignition until most of the light on panel are gone, then start the car up.

May try it first :)
