Changing the carpet's?

I have a 172 Cup, the carpet in the footwells is in pretty poor condition, i've hoovered it as best i could to try and get the worst of the hair out (i think a dog has been in it at some point in its life) so the hairs deep in the carpet, lets the interior down!

Is changing the carpet's a major pain in the arse? I know the seats will need to come out which is fine, but apart from that is it worth doing?

Also, does anyone have Phase 2 172 inteior carpet's they dont want?

I've got ph1 carpet you could have for free but I think Gaz85 will have some black ph2 one for sale fairly soon.

The carpets just fucked with hair! Just four bolts holding the seats down aye?

Perfect nick really. No tears, never been smoked in and the hairiest thing thats touched them is my ball sack. But they are blue!

Aye, 4 bolts per seat with wires underneath to be unplugged, also need to take off the handbrake cover and the centre console but none of thats tricky.

Im changing to black because its ph2. The blue has the advantage of being free but thats about it.

Aye, ph2 non sports are grey and ph2 172s are black. Dunno about cups, surprised they didnt just put some newspaper down and claim its lighter.

Black or dark grey like dynamiques. 172 one seem pretty deep pile compared to dynamique. Relatively speaking anyway

Cup carpet is the same material as ph1 172 carpet. I use the term carpet loosely as its like a woven mat type thing and very thin.

Ph1 172 is blue.

Cup carpet is black.

Non cup (FF?) ph2 172 carpet is dark grey and is a thick proper carpet. Completely different material.
