changing the fog light bulb.

  Abarth 595
I thought the easiest way would be to take the fog surround off and unscrew the front casing and just change them over. so after i took the surround off it seems that the front isnt supposed to be removed. I didnt try and force it too much cos i didnt want to crack the plastic. So yeah, how do I change it?

sorry for the noob question.

Feel underneath at the back, there is a plastic cover, you can pull it back with one hand and change the bulb with the other.

It's stiff so just don't let go, I did and f**k me that hurt, cut the side of my hand open

mmm...gonna sound a bit thick now but im not sure what im supposed to be pulling back. there is the plastic thing you unclip then there is a sort of box thing hanging down. Do i just stick my hand past that and grab the bulb from behind? Its a bit of a pain cos i can really get under the car properly...and its started to rain.

I managed to change it but now the glass is cracked. and the other one is proper rusted so im just gonna take them both out i think. Easy job? any advice would be very much appreciated.

Only 2 screws that hold the foglight into the bumper from behind, disconnect the wire and job done. Best to remove the inner arch liner for easy access but can be done by simply loosening the bottom

Very suprised no one suggested this when trying to change the bulb as it would have been 10x easier than working blind.
