My can has an immobiliser and remote locking.
Somehow this is linked to the tape/radio as I tried to change it but found the car was unable to lock or unlock use the remote locking when I put in the new CD/radio.
So I took out the new CD/radio and tried without anything in the car and it wouldn't lock/unlock. So I put in the original Tape/radio and it works fine.
Does anyone know a way around this problem as I don't know much about cars but would like to get a CD player fitted in mine.
Also the locking needs to work as otherwise the car can't start because the immobiliser is linked to the locking system.
