Changing Thermostat

got a new thermostat to fit on saturday, anything i need to be aware of or is it a straight forward enough job?

am i right in thinking the thermostat is under the airbox? car is 03 172, any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

just had a quick look on the dialogys, and it seems like it's on the side of the head (gearbox side), thermostat fits into the housing from the front.

just to the left of the air box you will see a coolant hose going in to a plastic or metal houseing which has 3 10mm bolts this is where it is make sure it goes in the right way and has a seal on it

yep, thermostats are quite cheap actually!
