Changing Xenons...

  Bumder With A Buffer
What a f**king pain in the arse it is to change a headlight!

Changed the passenger one over last night all fine as I could "just about" get my little hands in there.

Came to do the drivers one today during my lunch break.... not a f**king chance of doing it! Air con pipes etc in the way.

So off the front bumper came (well half of it) undid the headlight.... popped it forward and bosh done in all of 30 seconds!

Its nigh on impossible to do it without taking the headlight out IMO as you cant locate the light itself before putting the securing ring on as you cant hold the light in place and secure the ring around it.

What f**king numb nuts designed that!

A bit of a sack??? Took me an hour and a half! But now i know how to do it I could do it in 30 mins easy.

And now we have a new problem! Occasionally the passenger side light does not work.

A few (about 5 sometimes and other times 2) flicks of switching them on and off and the light fires into life. Am wondering whether the ballast could be causing this (unlikely??) or an issue with when I fitted it (cant be 100%) sure that the ground on the ringlet is attached properly.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have standard headlights on mine, and even i found it immensely difficult with my little hands to get into the driver's side. When you do manage to weave through the wires, you're at the wrong angle to grab or undo anything!!
