Hi, i know that the 172 has a sticker on the inside of the driver door and a little plaque on the dashboard with the chassis number, but does anyone know if there is also a number stamped into the metal of the chassis anywhere? Just having a sticker and a plaque on the dash would seem far too easy to tamper with. Does anyone know where I should look on a 172 or a 182 for a stamped number? Thanks in advance.
