I didnt think recirculating d/vs made any noise, I had one on my old saab 9000 and it didnt sound beefy at all, thought it was a 2.0t?Quote: Originally posted by cat171 on 25 October 2004
i reckon they sound wicked!
or you could get a recirculating d/valve, they make a slightly different noise to the usual tisshh.

Blasphemy I tell you - Sapph Cossie is the car that probably made DVs so popular. Def NOT a chav orientated car.
Before spending money on a dump valve and then a fitting kit, find out if your car can run on one.
If you have an airflow meter before the turbo it will cause problems just putting a dump valve on there.
Also - majorty of cars have a re-circ dumpvalve or else you get compressor stall and eventually a knackered turbo.
