Car  clio 172 sport
ive got roughly £1000 nicker to buy a cheap runaround for work as i dont want to use my 172 for work because im a joiner and it will just get s**t up. any suggestions?
 
i'd buy a 405/406 turbo diesel, 50+ mpg and loads of room in the back for all your tools, and you can pick them up for about £5/600.
 
Old Golf TDI with moon miles on for about £200, scratch it, dent it, kerb it, who cares for the price you'll pay.
 
306 dturbo...but make sure ya go for one wit a good service history - friend didnt and paid the price in engine repairs...
