I assume its the phase 1 engine, very common problem, reknowned for bottom end failure, get the bottom end rebuilt and your away, bargain for someone.

I've been quoted £450 plus VAT for a second hand engine supplied and fitted so its a very cheap car for somebody.

Not a bad price, just make sure they stick a phase 2 black top engine in there, definate bargain.
