Cheaper alternative to Xenon headlights?

The title kind of says it all.

Would like to change my headlights to get a more blue/white look to them but can't really afford to go all out and get xenons.

Is there a cheaper alternative or are there any types of bulbs that I can put in to get a similar effect?

You can get xenon look lamps.

Have a search on eBay

Whatever you do though, don't get hid's

Wouldnt get the xenon look bulbs TBH they are white but i found them to be very dim. Osram nightbreaker seem to be highly recommended on here. As above id stay clear of HID kits.

HIDs look s**t IMO.

If desperate, get some angel eyes for the projectors and fit some HIDs and disconnect the angel eyes but even that looks s**t.
