Are you sure its a UK unit?

I dont see any mention of RDS in the specs. nor on the picture of the unit.

Just lifted that ^^^ from the cheapdealz link - sounds like if might be a US unit to me. If so, does that mean the radio wont work here?

It will work, but it wont have RDS (Station Names etc), Traffic interupts as well are missing iirc.
