i’m sure this has been asked a lot already, however i’ve had my car 4 days and had loads of issues including a blow out so i’m already on edge and today driving steady
my check engine light turned on followed by a check emissions warning
just asking advice on if definitely need a trip to a garage

If you have a code reader yourself, and can diagnose the problem, identify and purchase any required parts and then fit them properly then no, you don't need a trip to a garage.
