Right, i'm off 182 shopping, have made a small checklist, just want to know what you think and if i missed anything off..

All the prices are just rough guesses etc so I get an idea.

Scratches:


Dents:


Sills bending


Check wheels for curbing

Ask when discs and pads last changed

Drivers door oval sticker - missing then it can show the cars been re sprayed and the sticker not replaced

Xenons + washer jets

Check for rust

Under boot carpet for any deformities

Check front splitter £130 new

Check rear lights

Engine cover

Check oil

Check interior rattles

Side bolsters on seats

Check steering wheel condition (rubber grips) £350 new

Check gear knob wear

Check seat belts

Check foot wells for water

Check electric windows

Check climate control

Turn key to lights on make sure serv light doesn’t stay on

Check for airbag lights because of wiring under seats

Check service history

Check AUX belt has been changed meant to be done at 36k

Both keys present

Check tyre foam

Check all 4 tyres should be Michelin EXALTO PE2 £92 each

Check TAX 12 months = £210

Check MOT

Brakes: £100 front discs £85 front pads £59 rear pads

Check the shocks for oil leaks..

Check exhaust for rust

Make sure there are TWO cans of tyre foam, toolkit and jack

Check what mats it has - not many still have the proper 182 mats

Check for black bumper insert stickers (if you dont knw what these are i'll post a pic up, they really tiny), missing this could been its hada respray on the bumper.

HPI has been done and all clear.

Will check exhausts etc.

do newish clios have the stickers with dates on the headlights under the bonnet? if they do its worth checking them to see if theve been replaced after a crash.

also should have Renault/AC/service stickers ontop of the grille (under the bonnet) Replacement grilles dont come with them

what about putting the steering wheel strait and seeing if the front wheels are pointing strait ahead?
