i think youll find that is actually an Audi engined golf, and it is fookin quick! seen a few other vids of it before. just having a butchers at some of the other vids now.........
 


i think youll fint the black car in the top vid is a golf mark 4 ive seen it b4 its on dahlbacks website coz theyre a tuning company for audis and veedubs!

Engine: dry-sumped 2.1 litre, five cylinder, 20v audi turbo motor mounted in-line. dahlback racing woven cam cover, KKK titanium turbo with R8R Le Mans car turbine, two intercoolers, single wastegate and blow off valve. mappable ECU, 10 injectors, custom plenum chamber, inlet and outlet manifolds, engine internals all top-secret. cast block to be replaces with light alloy item after setting up, adjustable vernier pulley. custom induction piping and cone filter mounted in carbon air-box. allow and silicon hoses witn anodised fixings. 4.5 stainless exxhaust pipe from turbo to tailpipe with single box mounted in place of rear seat Auti IMSA RAcing six-speed gearbox with custom final ratios


chassis: 10x19 racing dynamics RGq five-spokes with 265/30 ZR19 bridgestone sO2 potenza tyres. 4 pistol alcon racing calipers with 378mm frot and 256mm rear drilled discs wi removable bells. one off bias pedal box, braided hoses all round, magnesium audi sport quattro coulovers all round. dahlback racing subframe. audi rs2 subframs on rear. titanium roll bars, chromaloy rose-joints, magnesium struts and mouts, poly bushes.

outside: modified 1.6 golf shell, seam welded, semi space-framed front end, floor pan cut to accept new 4wd drivetrain, exhaust n fuel tanks. wv motorsport f2 steel arches and matching carbon fibra bumpers, dahlback carbon splitter, bonnet doors, hatch spoiler, modified roof with huge duct and vented tailgate, both to aid cooling. hella tinted rear lenses, rear quater modified for 4.5 tailpipe and twin alloy filler caps. perspex side windows, glass screens.

inside: dahlback racing multi-point chromaloy roll cage. modded transmission tunnel to accept gearbox and exhaust. recaro sp-a carbon-kevlar seats (2.5kg each) with radaelli six point harnesses. fly off handbrake, carbon fibre dash, door cards, steering wheel centre, floor plates. Extreme dials in carbon insert. extended steering column, seam-welded ally rear fire wall with perspex cover, two fuel tanks (refular unleaded and five-star racing fuel) rear mounted truck radiator with twin cooling fans. 4 fuel pumps [2 for each tank] and dual filters, alloy headerand oil tanks, swirl pot. lightweight race battery cell.
 


From the specs and the sound that thing makes it looks like its a lump from a GroupB Audi, S1 or something similar...

I know theyve had the 2.1 20vs to 1000bhp.

Impressive motor tho.
 


for all their technical wizardry, you would of thought they could spell properly.

Its the new 20V, not a GroupB effort.

The Dahlback guys are Swedes. You should be happy that they have bothered to translate it at all...;) Better a few miss-spellings than completely incomprehensible language.:D

1000bhp plus mate

some of the imsa engines were running 1200bhp in testing
