Chemical Guys clayblock

Hey. My detailing world account doesnt work so i thought id give my question a stab on here.
bought this aforementioned item from CYC ages ago. was bored the other day so decided id try the clayblock which is like a foam, with the luber. gave it a few sprays and a wipe with the block and it felt like there was no contact at all with the paint and the action of running the block along the test are was just smearing the luber all over the place.
does anyone have this and know how to use it props or am i best off with proper clay as in the putty?!
Cheers

you dont need to apply much pressure.
Warm the block up after youve cut it into 3 and lube the paint and bar and use a side to side motion. simple as.

Sorry I don't remember seeing the email!

You use it just like any other clay, but obviously you don't remould it or cut it up.

Spray plenty of lube on the panel and the gently rub across the surface using the 'clay' side. I've found keeping a bucklet of water handy next to the cart just to wash it off every so often helps keep it fresh.
