A mate recommended I get some minor bodywork (small stone chips on the front of the car) done by the above company.

Just wondered if anyone knows of anyone that employed their services and if they were happy with the job they done?

They seem pretty cheap! - Cheers....THE BOZ

yep ive used them before they are very good...but as ever it really depends on the individual, but i can assure you they are professional, I am in Notts I can give you the number of the guy who did mine?

I found a great guy from chipsaway in my area, and hes done a small scratch on my car and a nasty bigger set of scratches on my mates, love job every time, like alnug says, I spose it all depends on who you get.

The trouble i experienced was that my mate had some chips done on the front of his car and some rust on his sill.

They hardly even sanded the rust down let alone try to get rid of it and when he later got a scuff on his front bumper, i was t-cutting it out and the paint that they had sprayed onto the front of his car was coming off with it! Not any attempt to prep the paint had been made so we had to t-cut the whole of the bumper to remove all the paint they had put on or be left with a line where the poorly matched paint finished.

Hi,

I had the same thing done to my old Williams, theay removed several stonechips from the front, a quite deep set of scratches on the side (looked like it had been done by a shopping trolley) and an area on the rear bumber where the paint had seemed to just fall off. You would never have known that they had been there in the first place, First class service and all for 89 quid !! This was done on site at my local Halfords superstore. They did point out prior to starting work that any areas with rust would not look as good as if you had done at a proper bodyshop as they stated they only specialised in scratches.

Thanks for your opinions, cheer for the offers of the numbers alnug but Im down in Kent so my area bloke will obviously be different. Mat, sounds like your mate had a bad one, but I dont think you judge a company on one bad job, everyone has an off day.

Mind you, I hope the bloke who does my car doesnt have an off day! - Anyway, cheers for your help lads, when I get it done Ill post before and after pics and then well see what theyre like.

Sounds like a good, cheap alternative to a bodyshop though...and they come to your house.
