choking when accelerating

sometimes my cars seems to be struggling to build up speed.. it also drops speed sometimes as if the car is choking...it feels like im using the wrong gear "when im not"
ive recently changed my coil packs and spark plugs!

anyone know what it could be?

Ht leads on correctly? Plug gaps correct? Not knocked anything when doing the plugs did you?

Only other thing could be a blocked or partially blocked cat...

any leaks in the air intake.cat maybe playing up?
what plugs did you use
oem??
check for any water residue on the plugs
is it idling normally??

when i start the car up.. the revs go straight to zero and come back up to 10 or 5 depending how cold the car is


is the ht leads something that need changing at some point?

the mechanic told me i dont have ht leads on my 1.4 16v? :S

Have it scanned for faults, From cold the the ECU runs a standard fuel map, When it warms up it goes closed loop. If the lambda probe is not swinging it maybe over or under fueling.

It may not show as a fault code, Make sure who ever does it looks at the lambda data to make sure it swings.

Short answer Get the lambda probe checked...... LOL
