Chop the RS-1 in for a 182/CTR? Or wait for the RS-3? Aghh! Advice!?

Wait for the new RS3, test drive at multiple dealers to get the feel for more than one of them, then decide, then order, then wait, then cherish, again!! :D

I couldn't sum it up better myself David lad!!

:approve::cool:

yeah keep the shed chris...you said me and tom could test drive it when we come for the meet up north...lol

in all seriousness..i would never buy a ctr as they are common as sh*t..the 182 would be to similar, if i had the money i would go for the rs3 on looks but i dunno...perhaps sell the shed and get a mint hybrid or williams...lol

tbh mate, if i was going to change it would be for a newer car. i like the safety of warranty. lol

more than likely i'll buy into an RS-3 this year. just looking at my options that's all.

I would love an MkIV R32 Golf as well, but you have to be minted to run them :(

my first new car was my Dynamique...

Had it from new and i loved every day i owned it for. More so than my RS-1. Even if the RS is vastly better.

I miss owning a new car i guess. lol

i better get saving some wedge then...;)

I am in the same dilemma. Although after seeing the price of the new RS I cut that out of my options. There is no way I would pay over 16k for a clio. So I went to test drive a CTR and liked it but the new one is out next year I think and the new shape is awful. So whilst in the Honda dealer I asked about a S2000. So I went out in that too. It was awesome. My advice, keep hold of your car and go for test drives in cars you fancy. I was going to get a new Focus RS because I get a really good Ford discount but i'm glad I didn't order it after going out in it.

If I was you then I would wait to see what comes out and what turns out to be good, there seems to be alot of good cars around the corner at the minute. If I was to buy a car now it would be a VX220 :evil: rear wheel drive handles like a go kart and some good mods even for the non turbo!

why would you want a 182, yours is far nicer and faster? Stop being a Pernickety little sod and enjoy it!

For my money I'd buy a 'runaround' (more comfy than a vx220) and a westfield/caterham (quicker and more fun than a vx220). The VX is just too middle of the road - impractical but not quite raw enough...

2 car might work for insurance because admiral now allow you to insure two cars on the same policy. If i hadnt experienced the gorgeous honda engines I'd go for a used ctr whilst waiting for the new rs clio. There are hundreds of ctr on the market, there must be a bargain out there somewhere.
