How old does a car need to be to be eligible for a classic policy, apparently they're a fair bit cheaper than a normal one.... Ive heard of RS Cosworths coming under this, and was wondering if early E36 M3's were there yet?
When I was looking at a second car and getting classic quotes they said it depends on the car more than age. I was looking at mk2 golfs and 205s last year, a late 205 would be a similar year to an early e36.
Its not so much about the car, it's about your circumstances, eg to qualify for most classic policies you need to be aged 30 or over, it needs to be a second car, limited mileage, garaged etc
