  No more clio's for me!
Clayed my motor a copy of weeks ago, can i use the same clay again? Or is it best to get a new bar each time i do it?

Thanks for the help.

You should'nt really need to do it again Dan once every 6-12 months.

I split the bar into 3, and use a new piece each time. Relegate the old bit to wheel dutys.

If you do have some left over and it can still be kneaded and rolled to give you a clean portion to work with it should be fine though.

It depends on if it's really sh*ty, brown and got loads of tar on it? then no.

If it looks quiet white and clean then yes. Or use a fresh piece and use the old piece on the wheels?

Cheers for the advice Rich and Jay.

Although i did do a couple of weeks ago, i think does need doing again due to the state its in with the salt etc from the motorway, but i'll wash it down good and give it the finger wipe test...lol.

Cheers again :)

Clay is really for bonded on stuff that washing wont remove, if you sealed of waxed it after claying a good wash should do all you need, but the amount of miles you do chap, I could well be wrong!

I do mine about every 4 months or so. But I've noticed bits of tar etc sticks to the boot lid and back bumper a lot because of the poo weather. :(
